Wood Plank Resource - Guild Wars Forums

Can someone give me a hand. I am looking to get some wood planks so that I can have a bow made for my ranger character, but I can't seem to find the resource to make them or find them any where. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Could someone also tell me if there is a dye vendor in the pre-searing stages? Thanks.

salvage it from weapons ands salvage materials...bows, some axes, some wands,charr carvings and various other things all salvage into wood...u can also buy it from the crafting merchant

Sorry, as far as all of my travels have never seen a Dye Trader in pre-searing... Unless they have changed that in the last week (the last time I was there)

How much do you need? My vault is overflowing and i'd be happy to give a few planks away.

Can you have a vault in the pre-searing phase, I didn't think so, but if there is can you point me to it. If you are in the pre-searing and are willing to part I would appreciate it. Thanks for the offer. Look for Jarrah Drake when ever in Ascalon City. Thanks again.

Really, IMO it would be a waste of time to go to any effort to get anything crafted in Pre-Sear. The moment you get to Post-Sear all your equipment is obsolete.

Hey I made it to Lions Arch using my level 7 armor from pre-searing, and ran the trip from gate to LA w/ henchmen, and only suffered a -47% death penalty. So in a since not everything is obsolete.
